Learn MoreMy name is Dezheng Lu. I am currently studying Management at Fisher College and expect to receive my bachelor's degree in May 2027. I chose this major because I hope to fully develop my professional skills and apply what I have learned to my future career.
I am very interested in business and management, and enjoy watching speeches and interviews of successful business leaders. Through these videos, I have learned different ways of thinking, leadership styles, and decision-making strategies, and often find inspiration and personal resonance from their experiences.
I look forward to continuing my academic journey and using my management knowledge to grow professionally and contribute to the business field.
Bachelor of Science in Management
Focus on organizational behavior, strategic management, and leadership development. Established a solid foundation in management theory and analytical skills through coursework and practical projects.
Beyond academic pursuits, I believe in cultivating a well-rounded life through diverse passions. These activities aren't just hobbies—they're classrooms without walls, teaching me lessons no textbook ever could.
The quiet focus of the billiards hall is my meditation. Each shot teaches precision, patience, and geometry in motion. It's not just a game—it's a continuous exercise in calculating angles, anticipating outcomes, and maintaining composure under pressure.
The gym is where I transform intention into action. Whether lifting weights or pushing through cardio, fitness has taught me the profound connection between consistent effort and tangible results. It's a daily reminder that growth often happens outside our comfort zones.
My backpack has carried me through ancient cities and mountain trails alike. Every journey rewrites my understanding of the world—from navigating foreign markets to sharing meals with strangers who become friends. Travel doesn't just show me new places; it shows me new ways of being.
Through my lens, I've learned to see differently. Photography taught me that light has moods, shadows have depth, and every moment holds a story waiting to be framed. From capturing street life in bustling cities to freezing mountain dawns in pixels, I'm collecting visual poems, one click at a time.
These pursuits form my ecosystem of growth: pool sharpens my mind, fitness strengthens my foundation, travel expands my world, and photography deepens my seeing. Together, they remind me that the most important education often happens when you step away from the desk and engage with life directly.
My understanding of management theory enables me to analyze organizational structures, leadership styles, and decision-making processes, and apply these concepts to real business situations.
Experience working in a family business has enhanced my problem-solving abilities and provided me with practical understanding of daily operations and management practices.
I am proficient in English and Chinese, able to communicate effectively in diverse professional environments and collaborate with people from different cultural backgrounds.
These skills enable me to connect theory with practice and prepare for future roles in management and business.
